What does full bleed mean?
"Full bleed" refers to ink during the printing process. When something is full bleed, it means the ink goes completely to the edge of the paper. This is different from your home printer which needs to have a margin where no ink can be printed. Full bleed is only available through offset printing and is much less expensive than the days of old. In fact, offset printing will not only give you an un-comparable difference to home printing or going to your local favorite ie, staples, kinkos, or the like... but it is actually cheaper nowadays. |
